Fire Seal 6mm

RK Fire Seal is an O-profile silicone seal designed for fire doors with a groove for the fixing arrow. It is suitable for heat-resistant sealing of fire doors up to +600°C and prevents the spread of smoke between fire sections.

This product does not expand when exposed to heat. An expanding fire seal is a separate product, typically embedded in the frame. When exposed to heat, it expands to fill the gap between the door and frame.

In some cases, the use of RK Fire Seal in various fire doors and renovation projects requires site-specific approval from local building authorities.

The seal also insulates the door from cold/heat, saving energy. It is flexible, water- and wash-resistant. Silicone rubber has many unique properties, allowing it to be used in various applications. It resists UV light, ensuring that silicone products retain their color and elasticity even in strong sunlight, lasting up to 20 years depending on weather conditions.
